Diet: Insects
Habitat: Prefers areas of loose soil along open areas, woods, and rocky outcrops.
Range: Eastern third of United States including Texas.
Notes: The Six-lined Racerunner forages for insects predominately in the morning. Very skiddish when approached and like to hide under rocks and vegetation. May burrow in loose ground during times of colder temperatures.
