Diet: Nectar from various flowers
Habitat: Prefers broad-leaf woods and suburbs
Range: Ranges throughout ETexas
Notes: Male can be identified as a yellow with dark stripes. The female can be found in two forms. The first is yellow like the male while the other is black with dark stripes. Hindwing of both sexes may contain iridescent blue and/or an orange marginal spot. Easter Tiger Swallowtail caterpillars consume tree leaves in the Prunus (Plums), Magnolia, and Populus (Cottonwood) genera.
