Date: April 24, 2010
Habitat: Prefers well drained loam, clay, caliche, and limestone.
Range: Eastern to Central Texas
Notes: Vine that is often confused with poison ivy. Virginia creeper's leaves appear in clusters of five while poison ivy has clusters of three. Virginia creeper berries are highly poisonous and can be fatal if ingested.
